HAVING THE GIRLS CHECKED OUT

Yep, today I had my first Mammogram. It's really not as bad as everyone has made it out to be. I went to the new Sumner Station. Can you say WOW! They have coffee, tea, cocoa and snacks in the waiting room. I was impressed. I was taken into the waiting room and told to go to the bathroom and wash off my deo and put on the gown. I asked at work if I could wear deo and everyone said sure. WRONG! If you have to have a Mammogram, don't wear deo. Anyway, I put the gown on like you do when you visit the OBGYN and was thinking to myself how in the heck is that gonna happen. The Girls aren't showing so how is it gonna work? Any way, when I got into the Mammogram room, the sweet Mammogram woman said :"Honey, you need to turn your gown around and leave it untied." (The gown wasn't even a BIG Girl gown so I was already having problems with it.) I laughed and said, well this is my 1st time doing this. So, I turned my gown around and the smooshing began. At least they weren't smooshed as bad as I thought they would be.
As I was standing there I began to think about men who have to have this done. So I asked the sweet Mammogram woman how they do a man, especially if he doesn't have man boobs. She laughed and said that men are easier to do and that they do Mammograms on men the same way the do on women. I asked, HOW! She said, everyone has breast tissue and we just pull on men just like we do women. That's when I was glad I have big girl's! 'Cause she pulled on them but not too much. ( I know TMI!!)
So, I got a good report and everything looks good. Yeah, I know I look good! HA!!

So all the men and ladies need to go have their Mammograms done. It's really not that bad..

Me and Ellie in front of a horse and Buggy- (We both got in trouble before this picture was taken.)
All in all we had a wonderful time! Ellie and I kept getting in trouble cause I was trying to have an adventure with her and Jessie wouldn't let us. (HA) I guess I am a bad influence on little kids!! I try to have too much FUN!!! Anyway, I stopped getting Ellie in trouble. I think that the Travis Tritt song T-R-O-U-B-L-E was following me that day! I bought sourdough bread, tomato-cheese bread, salsa, jelly and squash. Christine was feeling a little home sick from her youth days, since she kinda grew up in that kind of setting.
After we got back to Hartsville, I went to see Angie and take her a loaf of tomato-cheese bread. I got to see her Mom-Joy and her nephew-Houston. Mike and David were putting up her fence. Little Dalton was so cute, he was kind of jealous of Houston so I was holding Dalton like a baby. We had a good visit.
Kelly and I went to the Funeral home that night because our friend Mark's brother passed away. We stayed till almost 9. Kelly was talking to everyone-He can't say anything to me anymore about talking too much. I had to whine to get him to leave!
Sunday was the 1st day for our new preacher. I had to fix something for the reception we were having after church and I forgot to go to the store. At 8am I was shopping, half asleep. I made ham and turkey roll ups and weight watcher brownies. Brother Tom did a magic trick for the children during children's' time. He pulled a handkerchief rabbit out of a handkerchief top hat!
After church, I went to the hospital to see Grandpa Bill- he's not really my grandpa but since Kelly L. was born he became Grandpa Bill. Poor ole Grandpa Bill-he has lost his eye sight due to diabetes, also has bad knees. I think that he will be going to the nursing home soon. He is also talking out of his head at times. He called Kerry a dog last night. I fried chicken and made squash and took Grandma Ann some supper. Grandpa Bill said he would eat some chicken if I brought it too him but, he only ate a few bites. It is sad to see him that way. It reminds me of Granny when she got really sick. I did get to see Diana and Billy. Diana had lost a lot of weight-getting ready for the wedding! She said she hasn't but I know she has. I also got to see Steve and Mike and Terry.
Kerry came home on time yesterday and Kelly and confronted her about sneaking out at Nanny's. She didn't lie about this time. He did tell her that she was no longer spending the night there and she will be catching the bus at home this school year. I will certainly be glad when her drama is over! I was good having her back home, even with the drama!
Sorry for such a long post but as you can tell, I had a lot to say!

My Best friend is back!

Angie Spivey has moved back home! Yeah!!! Well, she's not Spivey anymore of course, I'll always be Angie Rogers to her... We have been friends forever, like way back in elementary school. We used to tell people we were twins separated at birth and our adopted Mom's named us both Angela, nickname-Angie.
We were inseparable. Just about every Friday, I'd go to her house and stay till late on Sunday night. After high school, we kinda lost touch, but I always thought of her and wondered what she was up to. She has two beautiful boys and an awesome husband. I can't wait for us to rekindle our friendship.
I went to see her Friday night and it was like we had never lost touch. She looks the same, she kinda lost her southern twang, but she'll have it back in no time. Her youngest took up with me right away, he was showing me his room and had me playing with his toys. Her oldest was to much into TV to really pay a lot of attention. That's OK, hopefully we'll get closer as we see each other more often.
Welcome home Angie and Family!!

Saturday the company I work with had our company picnic at Beach bend Park. We had lost of fun till we started coming home. My stinking truck messed up and it took us 4 hours to get home! Kelly sure was cussing.... I felt so bad. We took the truck to a guy we know and he thinks it is the fuel pump, which he just replaced. That means it is still under warranty!!! Yea!!! But, once we get it back we will be car shopping-that should be lots if fun!

GOING TO THE CHAPEL- I MEAN COURTHOUSE

BM and boyfriend got married Wednesday. She called Kelly that night to tell him before she told Kerry. Like he cares what she does. He laughed when she told him, she asked why he laughed he said well, if a doctor told me that marrying a person would cause more problems to my health I do believe I wouldn't have gotten married. BM told us a few month ago that DR. S. told her not to marry BK because he was the reason she was having stress heart issues.
Probably another lie we were told. Along with many others.
Anyway, I wish them the best... As long as Kerry is not living there with them.

Are ya bored yet?

No one can say that I lead a boring life…

Yesterday my cousin Gina called to tell me that her car and Kenny’s car was broken into night before last. The thieves took the key to her vehicle but not the vehicle… How stupid…Where’s your sign?

I couldn't’t believe it. The Milligan curse has begun… Our ancestors were pirates and now it has come back to bite us both in the rear. Irish pirates… So you know that we will get even somehow. Will the drama ever end? You really have to laugh at the situation…

I did get some good news yesterday. Sweet cousin Wendy’s wedding invite came in the mail yesterday. I can’t wait till July 26Th. All or maybe the majority of my GA family will be there. I miss my GA family. I love my GA family.

Little Red....

Someone stole my little red sunbird. Yep, stole it!!! I can't beleive it. It was at my deceased Granny trailer 2 weeks ago, and now it's gone. I had to file a police report. The crappy thing is, we were getting ready to move it to have it fixed up for Kerry.... Mean people suck!!!
If you see a Little red Sunbird around town and it looks like I might have driven it at one time, let me know and I track 'em down and do a little Kung-Fu on them!!!
Hartsville's Finest came out to the trailer and looked around. The people were even in my granny's trailer and the doors were unlocked. There's nothing in there... They even went thru the stuff that was left in her building....
MEAN PEOPLE SUCK!!!!
Sorry, I am very upset... I really want to Karate Chop whom ever's head off... I really do...
I am sick of the drama in my life... I am a fairly nice person... Why does crap like this happen to me???
Hopefully it will be found... Probably not, so now we need to find a cheap-o car for Kerry to drive by Oct...
Again, mean people suck...

It's Offical!!

I have graduated to the offical Step-Mom Haters group. Yep, Kerry hates me. At least she did for a day!!! We have had sooooooo much Drama over the last week, it's not even funny! Long story short... Kerry thinks of her cousin as her boyfriend.. EWE>>> I know, GROSS... Remember, I just got custody of her from her crazy mom.. Oh yeah, crazy Mom knew she had these feelings.. Didn't say anything 'cause she thought we knew... She got a major tongue lashing from me about keeping things like this from us.. I mean come on,, we tell her everything.... Not anymore... Kerry says all they did was kiss, she has spent the night there... Trust me she is going to see my OBGYN next week. OH and another thing, this cousin is 20 years old... Yes a total freak!!! She is not allowed over at Nanny's anymore unless, Kelly, Me, Ethel or Kristy is there to supervise.. Cousin lives next house over.... This cousin is part of the same family that we had problems with when Kerry skipped school. This family has been nothing but trouble for us since we got custody of Kerry.
Kelly is ready to beat the crap out of him. I said something to Kelly about going to the DA because we know that he is talking to a 13 year old in OH. I have never trusted this young man since they moved beside Nanny. I had a gut feeling he was no good.
Kelly told Kerry yesterday that she needed to straighten up because he was sick of all this drama that has been going on since she moved in. He told her that what Angie says is the Law around here as well as what I(Kelly) say around here is the law and if she didn't like it, then she was gonna be miserable for the next 3 years. She is not moving in with her Mom until after she graduates High School. Kerry came home crying and asked me to forgive her for saying that she hated me, she really doesn't.. I hugged and told her I forgave her.
Please pray that Kerry does realize that her feelings are morally wrong. I did get the Bible out and read to her in the Bible where is talks about how wrong incest is. Please pray for Kelly and I to have the patience to deal with a teenager. I know that God wants me to raise her in Godly ways but the Devil has a hold of her and she is enjoying his grasp.
