What the Lord Is Saying Today
May 6, 2009. You are at both a good and at the same time a difficult place. Your faith is high and wide. But the storms of life still blow and howl. You have expectations that have gone unmet. You try not to let it bother you. You speak faith but deep inside you worry and wrestle with the facts of life. People who love you give counsel that shows they do not understand. The result of that has been that you tend to retreat into your shell and thus walk along. This is a problem. You recognize it. But today, you received a new and fresh word from the Lord through another whom you trust. Your mind says “Yes,” while your heart is slower to embrace. The Holy Spirit is telling you, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” Now you can be like almost “born again” into a new day with Me. You feel good about that. Spread your arms and fully embrace it, says the Lord.Isaiah 30:21 “Your ears will hear a word behind you, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right or to the left.”
May 6, 2009. I want you to give some thought about why you feel like you are in a foreign place. But there are things there that you will never understand here, and you don’t need that load on your shoulders. That way of thinking will not bring you peace. Pour out your heart to Me. I have you always in My sight and under My care. Yes you are in a foreign land. This land as good as it is, is not your home. Your ultimate home is with Me where I am. There will be a day for that, but it is not now. Nevertheless your spirit yearns for your spiritual home.2 Corinthians 5:6-9 “Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord for we walk by faith, not by sight we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.”

What the Lord Is Saying Today
February 27, 2009. My voice will be heard throughout the city. They will hear and obey. Rivers of living waters will flow freely. Your dry land will be watered. The desert will bloom again. The animals and even the rocks will praise Me in this hour. Children will come forth skipping and hopping. Their joy will be loud and they will not hold back their passion for Me. The King will ride through the streets with His chariot and angels assisting and accompanying Him. Yes, even the whole world will know of it and rejoice. Darkness will flee away in His presence. The ones who listen carefully to His voice and obey, these are the ones upon whom enormous favor will fall. A new order will be established. Glory to God. His presence will bring immense glory. You will know Him and He you. He loves you.Genesis 26:5 For Abraham listened to and obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commands, My statutes, and My laws.

February 27, 2009. You are worrying about things that are out of your control. You will never be able to control this because it is the actions of someone else. You feel enormous guilt because you think your actions helped cause the problem. You are right, but it is too late to go back and change that. You have asked forgiveness from Me, and from the one that you are worrying about. Now you must forgive yourself. You have allowed Me to change you, and you can also do this through Me. You forgive others you must forgive yourself. Pray for the one now in trouble, and leave it with Me. Lay it down.James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

What the Lord Is Saying Today
November 18, 2008. Some uncertainty has crept into your thinking. It has been eating away at your confidence. Your resolve to continue at any cost has been weakened. But there is nothing wrong with your good heart towards Me. You and I have a covenant that makes your enemies My enemies and My enemies your enemies. Such things as you are dealing with are cleansed by the blood of Jesus being applied. Deep in your heart is your remembrance of how Jesus died on the cross for you, cleansing you from all sins forever. Pray for that blood to again be applied now to take away all double-mindedness and make your focus sharp again. Wash your hands to make sure all impurities are gone. Apply the blood of Jesus to your heart that you may again sparkle with His light. Nothing is lost and there is everything to be gained.James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

November 18, 2008. Your mind is troubled over something that has happened. There is something lost. You know you had it, but it is nowhere to be found. You have looked in every place you remember being, but it seems to just have disappeared. I remember your thoughts and actions before you lost it. Think back over the steps you took. I speak peace to you in your loss. Don’t spend excessive amounts of time looking. Do not worry about it. When you have your mind at rest things suddenly pop in that were forgotten. I restore what is lost. I restore lost memories, lost people, lost relationships; I am the Lord of restoration. Lamentations 5:21 “Restore us to You, O LORD, that we may be restored; Renew our days as of old,”

What the Lord Is Saying Today
October 28, 2008. There is someone whom you need to love. By your standards, they do not deserve the love you know is required from you. You are wondering about the next step. Could I just share My heart with you for a moment. My love is unlimited and without boundaries. This is a love worth having. It is imperishable and unspeakable. Share it and give it in outlandish generosity. To share My love is to share Me because I am love. It is the core of My being. Therefore when you share My love, you are actually sharing Me. Humble yourself and grab hold of My grace within. Open the great river of life and love you hold inside. Let it gush forth and flood your situation. John 3:16-17. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins so that judgment would not come to those who believe and they would inherit eternal life. He did not come into the world to judge the world but that through His death on the cross believers would be spared.”
October 28, 2008. There will be an unexpected contact. Someone is coming on the scene you do not know. Don’t dismiss this. I have sent them your way. You won’t know why they are there until later. You can make the decision whether or not they will stay. It will be evident as you go along if they are to remain. The reason for this is to teach you to walk in wisdom. If you seek Me with a willing heart, to obey at every juncture, I will show you what to do. Do not rely on your own understanding, because there are things good and bad revealed. Trust in Me in this adventure.Psalms 37:5-6 “Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday.”

TODAY'S BLESSING

October 21, 2008. My hand is upon you in good times and bad, in fires and floods. Your tenacity and endurance have caught My attention. In difficult times you have consistently continued to the finish line. When sickness has come for a visit, you cling to healing until the victory. Many times you could have whined like others but instead you found a way in your heart to give Me thanks while believing for the best. In the end, over and over again, you have prevailed over your enemies because you truly believe they are also My enemies and that I will prevail over them. This too has blessed Me to see you, My child, be the overcomer of each assault. Now you face the biggest battle of all. You will prevail! Isaiah 43:2 “When you go through the sea, I am with you. When you go through rivers, they will not sweep you away. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, and the flames will not harm you.”

October 21, 2008. You have been carrying concerns on your shoulders that you need to be sharing with someone else. You have wondered if they will understand what you have been going through. I know you understand not to tell everyone, but you need to tell someone. Tell the one whom you know prays. This is the one who will not take up an offense with those you are having a hard time with. This is the one who can give you good counsel, and will take part of the burden off your shoulders, so it will be easier to carry. It is tolerable to have the burden, but better to have it shared. Galatians 6:2 “Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.”
